Daesh

heart_candles-7047I join the rest of the world in mourning the senseless deaths by terrorism in Paris, Beirut, and Baghdad. Based on reactions in social media, the response to these atrocities calls for everything from bombing to love.

Here’s where I get confused. What does responding in love look like? Does it mean burying the dead and forgetting about the terrorists? What about the Syrian refugees fleeing their homeland because of terrorist activities there? Should a country take a chance on resettling a family that plans to engage in horrific acts when the time is right?

FBI Chief, James Comey, says their database cannot properly vet refugees. According to the linked article, it’s like googling someone and not finding their name. Does that mean they are desirable people?

Someone, please tell me what you would do to offer a loving response and bring justice to those innocent people who died.
