A few blogs ago I mentioned software programs specifically designed for writers. I tried several by downloading demo versions and decided to buy WriteItNow from WriteItNow.com. The more I use this program, the more features I find and the more convenient it is to use.

Over the weekend, I entered the chapters to my current novel. WIN has a feature whereby I can work on the scenes in each chapter. Need to check on a character’s hair color? Just check the characters tab and it’s there. Going back and forth between the tabs is simple.

WIN also gives you word count and a readability scale.
